R- Description Are you ready to make and impact? Leidos Digital Modernization is seeking a senior level Cybersecurity Analyst to support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Information Technology Services (CITS) contract. You will be part of a team that provides an innovative, modernized, IT life-cycle management system to USCENTCOM. The CITS program provides USCENTCOM with the capability to maintain high readiness rates for an innovative enterprise IT infrastructure on a global scale.
You will be working in support of J66 performing operational cybersecurity analysis. This role acts as a channel between both infrastructure/network operations and cybersecurity. Location: 100% on site at MacDill AFB, Florida.' What will you do in this role? Liaise between various Cybersecurity and Operational technical focus areas to ensure network compliance is planned for, supported and tracked in a timely manner. Act as a team player, demonstrating the willingness and agility to work on challenging assignments and tasks concerning Cyber Security, Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense policy, procedures and guidance. Conduct analysis for Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs), CENTCOM Communications Tasking Orders (CCTOs), Weekly Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVAs) between Cybersecurity and Information Technology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to determine level of mitigation efforts, sequence of actions required and ability to track and report specific details to leadership. Provide detailed, in-depth cybersecurity analysis to determine mitigation efforts, POA&M development and / or Risk Acceptance determination submission and tracking, ATO Development, etc. Apply existing strong policy and process knowledge for the development and implementation of security standards, procedures, guidelines and tools for multiple platforms and diverse system environments. Implement Cyber Security processes including vulnerability patching, remediation and scanning cycles in order to better defend USCENTCOM networks against internal and external threats attempting to gain access or exploit critical information, infrastructure and systems. Participate as a member of integrated government/contractor teams of technical and subject matter experts conducting Cyber Security, Information Assurance / Computer Network Defense (IA/CND) in support of HQ USCENTCOM. Participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) between IT and Cybersecurity professionals for Course of Action (COA) development and implementation. Perform Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) verification and validation efforts. Provide status reports, briefings, and updates to senior Military/Government/Contractor leadership including up to the USCENTCOM Authorizing Official (AO), academic and executive audiences. Provide analytical support that includes research, documentation and development of tactics, techniques, and procedures to support USCENTCOM mission. Manage escalated security issues from assignment, analysis, mitigation recommendations and remediation implementation. Demonstrate familiarity with DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) vulnerability scanning capability for networks and components. Identify and address key threats, controls, and operational gaps to ensure a solid security practice. These qualifications are required: Currently hold an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Bachelor's degree and 8+ years, Master's degree and 6+ years, Associate's and 10 years', high school diploma/general education diploma and 12 years' relevant experience. Currently hold one or more of the following active certifications: GSEC or Security+. Familiarity with IT systems, servers, physical and virtual clients, applications and network security. Must be able to provide technical subject matter expertise for a wide range of security technologies. Familiarity with a wide range of Cybersecurity tools including McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS), ACAS, RMF Processes (eMASS), etc. Possess strong communications skills. Possess an understanding of vulnerabilities, exploits, and practical working knowledge of DoD Cyber Security program. Experience briefing senior military and civil service employees Possess current U.S. Passport; ability to travel, on occasion, throughout the AOR. These qualifications are preferred and helpful: Background working with the USCENTCOM customer performing enterprise IT services.
