We seek an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to serve as part of ACI's Government Program that supports Product Management Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) Integration . Duties and Responsibilities: Conducts static and dynamic software security scanning for applications as part of a research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) effort. Evaluates security risks, documents vulnerabilities, liaises with third party developers and Government customers regarding security issues, and provides expert advice on mitigations and controls. Collaborates with a cross-functional team (including Configuration Management, Technical Documentation, Technical Analysis, Software Engineering, and Cloud Engineering personnel) to support and enhance verification and validation (V&V) activities for augmented reality (AR) applications. Honest: knows what's right, what's legal, what's appropriate; acts accordingly. Required Qualifications: Ability to use Fortify Static Code Analyzer for software application security testing. Experience using tools and methodologies to conduct code vulnerability and scanning. Demonstrates knowledge about U.S. Government security protocols, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards, Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST Special Publication 800-53 control assessments. Possesses the ability to ensure strict adherence to regulations, including security guidance objectives. Ability to collaborate with Government and operational personnel to assess software compliance, develop security improvement plans, and mitigate risks. Experience with Linux RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux). Experience with Tenable Security Center, Nessus Scanner, and Fortify Scanner. Experience with McAfee Antivirus and/or Trellix Endpoint Security. CompTIA Security+ Certification Ability to work within a collaborative, geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a US Government clearance is required, and all applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Must possess a High School diploma and 14 years' experience or, Associate's degree and 12 years' experience or, Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience or, Master's degree and 0 years' experience. Preferred Experience: Experience with DoD Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Experience with Army Mission Command SystemsExperience with Army Mission Command Systems (e.g., Nett Warrior, Joint Battle Command-Platform, etc.) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP) Experience in reviewing and auditing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and ensuring STIG compliance. Experience using Atlassian Software Suite (including Confluence, Bitbucket and artifact repository). Experience working with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) applications.
