Cyber Analyst with Security Clearance

Torch Technologies seeks a Cyber Analyst to provide engineering and technical support to the Air Warrior Product Manager at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This role focuses on agile software development and digital engineering in defense acquisition, requiring expertise in system administration and ISSO duties. The position is based in Huntsville, AL. What You Will Do: Cybersecurity Analysis and Implementation: Provide technical support focused on integrating robust cybersecurity measures in agile software development and digital engineering environments for the Air Warrior (AW) Product Manager. ISSO Duties: Perform key Information System Security Officer responsibilities to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. Security Framework Application: Apply the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST controls, and STIGs to system design and implementation, ensuring systems meet stringent security protocols. Collaborative Development Support: Work within a Program Management Office setting, assisting in the development, test, evaluation, contracting, production, and fielding of secure systems. Job Requirements Who You Are: Experienced Cybersecurity Professional: With a strong foundation in system administration, you are skilled in applying cybersecurity principles and practices within defense settings. Certified Security Specialist: You hold Security+ and preferably CISSP certifications, validating your expertise in cybersecurity. Effective Communicator and Collaborator: You possess outstanding organizational and communication skills, capable of working effectively in highly collaborative environments. Proactive Self-Starter: You thrive in dynamic team settings, demonstrating initiative and the ability to independently manage tasks and deliverables. Your Technical Proficiencies: Cybersecurity Tools and Practices: Skilled in using cybersecurity software and familiar with DoD Information Assurance policies. Systems Engineering: Proficient in agile software development, DevSecOps, and Model Based Systems Engineering. Project Management: Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Word for project management and reporting. Required Qualifications: Degree: A BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems is required; a Master's degree in these fields is preferred. DoD Security Clearance: You should possess or be eligible to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Practical Experience: 7-9 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in cybersecurity within a defense acquisition environment.
