Customer Service Support

Experience: Data entry and/or order taking experience required. Background in manufacturing, construction, or commercial industries preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Answer questions for customers and outside sales staff regarding:
- Status of in-house and shipped orders
- Product information
- Invoicing discrepancies
- Availability
- Lead times
- Prices
- Freight costs
- Provide customer support through comprehensive knowledge of our products and their applications.
- Respond to inbound sales calls promptly and professionally.
- Maintain effective communication flow among customers (internal and external to the company), management, and outside sales representatives.
- Accurately enter all purchase orders ensuring material and freight costs match exactly to customer's purchase order.
- Generate and verify order acknowledgements, then promptly email to customers.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in data entry and using computer systems.
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
