We are partnering with a well-established insurance agency in the Chicago area who is seeking an experienced CSR to join their growing team.

A family owned and operated business, with 45+ years in the insurance industry is looking for Customer Service Representatives and Producers to join their team. This individual will need to be local to the Chicago or Naperville area as they will function in a hybrid capacity. Two days in office, three days remote. The ideal candidate will have their insurance license in IL and be able to build a book of business while operating as a CSR. This is a unique role offering the ability to receive a salary plus commissions on any new business brought into the agency.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Customer Service Representative to join our thriving team in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be a vital link between our company and our clients, ensuring that all customer service interactions are handled efficiently and effectively. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in insurance customer service and a keen eye for detail to contribute to our commitment to providing top-tier customer service. Our ideal candidate will hold an IL insurance license which will allow you the ability to grow your insurance book of business and receive great commissions as well.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

1. Create insurance certificates and handle customer inquiries, complaints, billing questions and payment extension/service requests.
2. Managing a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, and live chat with knowledge and efficiency.
3. Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
4. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
5. Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
6. Keeping records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
7. Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
8. Taking the extra mile to engage customers.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, insurance industry experience is required.
2. Active IL insurance license and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships.
3. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone.
4. Excellent knowledge of CRM systems and practices.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
7. High level of professionalism, patience, and resilience.
8. Solid understanding of insurance products and services.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; higher education degree preferred.
