We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our client's team as a Customer Service Representative. This position offers the opportunity to engage with customers, handle inquiries, and contribute to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound calls and emails, providing accurate information on pricing, products, and delivery or directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Efficiently process customer orders received via phone and email.
- Manage and organize incoming leads, qualifying their interest and nurturing them towards a decision through consistent follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and suggest additional products or services to current customers, building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Handle payment processing and ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly, documenting incidents and categorizing any reported defects or errors.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal departments to achieve sales targets and ensure seamless operations.
- Undertake various projects as assigned by other departments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or higher is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend effective solutions.
- Knowledge of business-to-business sales and general business best practices.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Netsuite Oracle ERP.
- Previous experience in domestic and international shipping.
- A background in general office work.
