CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Performs varying degrees of clerical functions, from intermediate to fairly sophisticated, which require typing skills and the use of office equipment, personal computers, and business software systems. Customer interaction requires extensive use of customer service skills and a significant degree of decision-making authority. Employees in the classification work in the following areas:


Essential Education, Skills and Environment

Education and Work Experience

High school diploma (or GED)

Prefer minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Will automatically progress through the wage rate scale provided the employee's performance is satisfactory to qualify for advancement. May be required by Company to pass written and/or proficiency tests covering any of the following qualifications:

  1. Typing with acceptable speed and accuracy (35 w.p.m.)/keyboard skills.
  2. Aptitude for arithmetical calculations.
  3. Ability to operate various office machines and personal computers as required.

Equipment and Applications

PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

General office environment, no special physical demands required.

Contact Center hours of operation are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including Saturdays and Sundays. This position requires employees to be flexible to work any shift.

May require mandatory overtime.

Salary starts at $20.67/Hour.
