Job Title: Customer Service/Collections Representative


Pay: $15.00 Merit Increase to $22/hr. once hired on


Start Date: June 12th


Location: Onsite role in Winterville, NC


Schedules will be primarily Monday - Friday. Must be available to work up to 3 Saturdays a month and one Sunday shift.

Example Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 2 day shifts each week 8:00 am-5:00 pm, and 2 evening shifts per week 12:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (day off if scheduled the weekend)
Saturday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (2 or 3 Saturdays a month)
Sunday: 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (One Sunday shift a month)

Job Description: Collect delinquent automotive accounts in a timely, orderly, and professional manner while following all standardized collection procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet performance expectations for collection efforts for assigned accounts based upon individual goals and objectives, e.g. minimum calls per day, contact percentage, promises/calls ratio and promises kept

  • Place or receive calls in priority order as established by management

  • Negotiate payment arrangements with clients to cure delinquency, evaluating ability and willingness to pay

  • Navigate and interpret various screens and relay information to clients accurately and professionally

  • Determine the cause of delinquency and the best course of action to assist the delinquent customer

  • Document all collection efforts for each assigned account in accordance with established procedures.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • REQUIRED 1+ years of recent collections/customer service experience in a call center environment

  • REQUIRED: Good Job Stability

  • Professional communications skills, written and verbal; active listening skills for problem identification and solution.

  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong time management and multitasking skills

  • Self-motivated and strong initiative to succeed
