SUMMARY & SCOPE: Work in a team environment to provide value added service to our customers and sales teams, serve as the central point of contact for customers, input orders, manage customer inquiries, resolve problems, and work as an extension of the sales team to generate new business and grow existing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers and sales team members.
Input sales orders, demo tool orders,sample / trial orders, equipment on loan orders, billing orders for the sales team and others as necessary making sure accurate pricing is used
Determine shipping locations and communicate with warehouses to ensure orders are shipped as necessary
Pull daily open order report, analyze it, and take corrective action where necessary.
Research billing disputes & short pays, take corrective action (credit, debit,etc), and notify credit manager of resolution.
Process credit & debit notes and submit inventory adjustment forms when applicable.
Update current customer accounts within our internal systems
Maintain customer notes in system
Process Return Material Authorizations.
Maintain RMA and Credit spreadsheets for tracking purposes
Input notes into sales orders regarding credits and RMA's
Input invoices into customer portals for payment
Run weekly and monthly budget reports for all sales representatives
Run Monthly reports for the Commercial Development managers
Communicate with other internal departments for information sharing and problem resolution.
Backup other customer service positions
Attend and complete all required trainings
Contribute in a team environment.
Follow all appropriate health and safety precautions required
Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Self-motivated
Proficient in Excel
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge of Packaging industry a plus
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills
Customer service oriented
Must be a team player
College Degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of customer service experience in manufacturing industry.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk to perform the functions of this position. Must be able to lift or move up to 10lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Normal office environment.
