Job Summary

The Customer Program Associate is responsible for assisting departmental activities to achieve the company's natural gas energy efficiency goals. This role will support marketing efforts with various engagement, outreach and communications tasks; emerging technology activities to support the delivery of forward looking energy efficiency solutions; and other administrative portfolio activities, as needed. The individual selected for this position will bring a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills plus will be highly organized and talented in managing details. Job Responsibilities
  • The person is a versatile professional, able to work in and support multiple areas of the energy efficiency portfolio team.
  • Tracks and coordinates on-time and accurate development of various materials and messaging related to energy efficiency activities, events, speaking engagements, stakeholder activities, and regulatory content.
  • Works closely with internal/external clients and subcontractors to support specific initiatives, events or programs, coordinating the work of others in the company or external vendors.
  • Supports development of materials for use with internal audiences, including articles, PowerPoint presentations, letters, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred majors: Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Political Science, Journalism, Environmental Science, Public Policy or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years professional experience in project coordination, administrative support, communications, marketing, public relations, media relations, or community relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Self-starter with exceptional skills in project coordination, follow-through and problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, pay attention to detail and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proven relationship-building skills with internal and external teammates.
  • Proficient in standard office software (i.e. MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint etc.).
  • Familiarity with marketing and project management tools to enhance team coordination and tracking tasks, timelines and budgets (i.e. Wrike, Smartsheet etc).
