Custodial Technician

Help maintain and repair facilities on campus as well as performing other assigned jobs including cleaning, set up and tear down of rooms, and maintain custodial closets. This is a part-time position working Monday through Friday, 25 hours per week, possibly longer, with flexible hours for cleaning. Some evening hours are required. A pre-employment drug screening is required for all candidates offered employment.

Primary Job Functions Include (But are not limited to):
Familiar with commercial cleaning practices: floor cleaning, carpet extraction, floor scrubbing, etc.
Ability to perform cleaning procedures throughout a number of different spaces and different surfaces.
Various event set-ups may be required; set up of foldable chairs and tables.
Organize and maintain custodial closets with proper cleaning tools and supplies. Notifying the Facilities Director when additional supplies are needed.
Have a high-level of standards in regards to cleaning as it relates to the churchs image and the reflection of Gods image through our property.
Flexibility in getting tasks done within a timely manner with respect to church events throughout the week. Some evening hours are required.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be reliable, organized and have a strong attention to detail and work within a deadline. Must be able to work well with people. Must be able to physically lift 40 lbs. or more. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to bend, stoop, carry and reach. Must be able to problem solve and work with minimal supervision.
