Job Details:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic patient care services using computed tomography (CT) and related diagnostic procedures. The position requires a high level of patient interaction, so we are looking for a professional who is comfortable communicating with people in various stages of health and recovery.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide patient care and comfort, explain procedures, and position patients for scans.
  • Follow radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient safety and maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical team members to improve patient care.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and uphold the confidentiality of patient information.
  • Assist in the management of patient flow to ensure timely care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on the latest industry practices and advancements in CT technology.

Qualifications:

  • Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must hold a current ARRT Certification in Radiography.
  • Must be ARRT(CT) ELIGIBLE or hold a current ARRT(CT) certification.
  • - Proficient in the use of CT equipment and the ability to quickly learn how to use new equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical team members.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to accurately position patients and operate complex machinery.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in stressful and emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
