The CT Technologist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team at Complete Care. The CT Tech will provide comprehensive care to patients who present with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries. This position will require a high degree of critical thinking and clinical expertise in working with urgent and emergency clinical presentations.

Serves as point of contact for lab at the ER assigned and assists the physician/provider in carrying out physician/provider delegated orders and tasks regarding labs. You are expected to have impeccable customer service skills, be willing to make post discharge phone calls, conduct documentation reviews, and feed-off positive patient reviews. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assure that the quality of clinical services is maintained through individual and group supervision with effective communication and promotion of teamwork.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining excellent patient care and customer service.
Prepare patient for X-Ray, CT scan, explain procedure to patient and/or family, prepares room, equipment, and materials as needed.
Position patient and arrange immobilization and support devices for patient.
Practice radiation protection techniques to limit exposure to patient and medical staff.
Adjust equipment controls, determine proper voltage, and exposure time.
Administer routine x-ray exams,
Requirements
Current License in the State of Texas
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiology Technology Program.
Current Texas MRT License in good standing
Current BLS required, ACLS a plus all through the American Heart Association
1-2 years of Radiology and CT experience, preferably in urgent care and/or emergency medicine
Positive upbeat attitude
