Job Description Description PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Medical Center in Cottage Grove, Oregon is seeking a CT Tech / X-Ray Tech for a Part Time, 0.75 FTE, Evening position. The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $41.11 - $64.62. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc. Spotlight on Cottage Grove Position highlights: Meaningful schedule: This part-time evening position will be scheduled Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 9 PM, allowing the opportunity to create valuable work-life balance. Details about the position: Perform most appropriate examination based on patient information through consultation with interpreting physician and/or ordering physician as necessary. Provides patient education and instruction prior to and after examination. Provide training/education to staff and students as indicated. Operates CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images. Performs x-ray examinations applying appropriate infection control and radiation safety measures. Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluates patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated. Performs other patient care activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned consistent with Caregivers' scope of practice, training, experience and license/certification/registration. What you bring: Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year previous experience preferred. Demonstrated venipuncture competency required. PACS/RIS knowledge required; EPIC RIS, FUJI and IntelliSpace PACS experience preferred Permanent (OBMI) (RT) licensure with Permanent (OBMI) CT OR Temporary (OBMI) CT Licensure Certification is required upon hire. Permanent (OBMI) CT Licensure is required within 1 year of hire OR at the expiration of the last Temporary CT (OBMI) License. ARRT - R required at hire. Advanced CT certification required within 1 year of hire. Advanced ARRT (CT) Credential through an Advanced Nuclear Medicine (NM) Credential pathway instead of the Advanced ARRT (R) pathway is acceptable. This pathway would not require the new hire to need the ARRT (R) credential. Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
