The Customer Service / Community Outreach Representatives will connect with local communities to promote TruConnect's wireless program in an effort to bridge the gap between underserved communities and essential communication tools.

The Customer Service / Community Outreach Representative champions initiatives for the greater good through impactful promotional strategies and events. The ultimate goal of the program is to assist underprivileged community members in obtaining basic communication tools to improve the quality of life and seek impactful alternatives for low-income families to increase their socio-economic standing and provide overall job security.


Customer Service / Community Outreach Representative Responsibilities:

  • Execute community outreach campaigns on behalf of the TruConnect program
  • Communicate with community members to determine eligibility for the wireless program
  • Deliver engaging presentations to explain the benefits of the affordable wireless program
  • Assist qualifying individuals with the enrollment and order process
  • Participate in community outreach and management training as required by leadership
  • Generate Customer Service / Community Outreach progress reports on a weekly basis to determine individual performance and success in the role
  • Understand program goals, monitor progress towards meeting these goals, and communicate this progress to program leadership on a regular basis
  • Provide general assistance to the members of the division
  • Ensure participant files contain all necessary and up-to-date documentation
  • Greet and assist community members in the division/program
  • Assist in day to day operations of the division/program as needed
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by operational management
