Crush Crew Worker

As a part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Crush Crew Worker. We are seeking candidates who are extremely motivated and have basic mechanical abilities and automotive knowledge. The Crush Crew is responsible for preparing vehicles for crushing into scrap metal within the suggested time constraints in a safe and conscious manner. This may entail removing wiring harnesses, radiators, starters condensers hoses aluminum wheels, or any other metal not removed by the mechanized puller. The candidate selected for this position must have the ability to work closely and in concert with others to maximize production. Essential Job Duties Prepare vehicles for crushing into scrap metal within the suggested time constraints in a safely and conscious manner This may entail removing wire harnesses, radiators, starters, condensers, hoses, aluminum wheels or any other metal not removed by the mechanized puller Ability to work closely and in concert with others to maximize production Assist in the vehicle crushing operation Must display a positive and friendly attitude as well as appropriate behavior during work hours Cleanliness must be maintained in the work area Other duties as assigned
