CRNA contract in Decorah, Iowa
- CRNA in the Anesthesia department
- $160 per hour
- 13 weeks and will very likely extend
- Full time, 40 hour guarantee
- On-Call: 1 in 4 days and 1 in 4 weekends
Requirements:
- Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Two (2) years of anesthesia care in acute setting experience preferred
- Valid state RN License in Iowa or Compact
- Valid state APRN Recognition
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- BLS and ACLS
Provides a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients; provides pre and post procedural assessment, patient education and counseling to ascertain understanding of the service provided. Provides care to patients receiving all levels of anesthesia, observes conditions of anesthetized patients and takes necessary remedial measures to counteract unfavorable conditions and ensures post-operative anesthesia recovery.
Should be familiar with the following procedures: Orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, general surgery, OB/GYN, cataracts, pediatric dental; including lumbar epidural catheters, spinal anesthesia, auxiliary brachial plexus blocks, and other regional anesthesia blocks.
