Crisis Specialist Job Details Job Location Screening and Crisis Intervention Program (SCIP) - Burlington County, NJ Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Job Shift Any Job Category Health Care The Crisis Specialist interviews consumers, completes assessment, treatment plans, and crisis intervention. Outreaches as required. Answers a 24 hour hotline. Expected to report for work in inclement weather. Additional tasks will be added at Director's discretion. Legacy operates the State-designated Screening and Crisis Intervention Program for Burlington County, providing evaluations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis or posing a danger to self, others or property. We make it our priority to screen and triage individuals in crisis within community settings as opposed to a hospital setting. Our certified screeners and mental health professionals work together to stabilize the crisis and determine the most appropriate, least restrictive treatment option. This is a Full Time Benefited position with the following benefits: + 3.2 weeks of Paid Time Off during the first year + Medical insurance, vision, dental and life insurance benefits + 403(b) employee participation and employer match + 9 Agency-paid holidays + Training opportunities provided throughout the year + Tuition Reimbursement after 1 year of employment + Retention bonus offered biannually, $1.3k for full time staff Hours: Full Time; Available shifts include: Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Monday - Friday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Sunday - Thursday 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and Sunday - Thursday 7:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Education/Experience: Master's Degree in a mental health field preferred. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in a mental health related field and two years of mental health experience required . Your driver's license must be in good standing, with no recent suspensions or violations of careless/reckless driving or excessive speeding of more than 20 MPH, and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
