Ability to work collaboratively with others. High school diploma. Passing Paraeducator exam or 48 college credit hours required. Experience with children in a group setting. Must be able to lift, push or pull 40 pounds and also be able to bend at the waist, kneel and reach above your head. REPORTS TO: Building Principal/Special Education Classroom Teacher/Director of Exceptional Children Services JOB GOAL: To implement the educational programs developed by the Special Education teacher. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides assistance for the special education classroom teacher of exceptional students.
