Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated Credit Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Credit Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a credit and collections process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding debts. This is a challenging and exciting position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities:
This role is both phone and email work - it's 60% email/40% phone work but you must be okay with picking up the phone.

  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding debts
  • Work with internal departments to resolve customer disputes and issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit and collections transactions
  • Communicate with customers via phone or email to resolve outstanding issues
  • Provide regular reports to management on the status of outstanding debts and collections efforts
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collections processes and reduce delinquency rates
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in credit and collections in a business to business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with credit evaluation and risk assessment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
