Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Part-Time)
Location: Bellevue, WA
Duration: 9 Months


Part-time 20 hours Week Monday-Wednesday (but can fit according to candidate needs)


Description:

PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Collection Specialist is responsible for assisting customers regarding billing questions and to process and resolve any collection issues. They are responsible for reducing the delinquency for assigned accounts. They must communicate effectively with Customer Experience and Sales regarding customer accounts in a timely manner.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Match incoming cash receipts (checks and ACH payments) with open invoices.
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts on daily basis - Customer calls, payment status via customer portals, account adjustments, customer reconciliations.
Contact customers with overdue accounts and resolve billing issues.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
Enlist the efforts of sales managers and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Detail-oriented with focus on complete documentation and accuracy.
Solid understanding of Excel (Pivot table, vlookup)and Office applications.
Strong customer service skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.


QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS Degree (BA degree preferred)
Must have the highest level of integrity and business ethics.
Ability to maintain quality and productivity when faced with time pressures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to tailor and deliver messages at various levels within the organization.
Strong project management skills and experience.

Working with invoice system experience is not needed, they can trained.
