Summary
The Creative Director is accountable for leading creative strategic concepting, tactical execution, and creative operations to support the Growth Organization and overall, GEHA goals and objectives. The role is responsible for leading the creative team through the annual planning cycle and execution of Open Season for both medical and dental product lines, ensuring direct response best practices are incorporated to optimize conversion. The ideal candidate is a strong creative leader with demonstrated ability on both client and agency side in leading creatives teams to deliver results-oriented creative concepts, campaigns, and assets for Health Payors.


Duties

Creative leader for organization, own strategic vision, and tactical execution of brand across all communication channels, lead team of creatives in producing dynamic, inspiring, results-oriented creatives across direct mail, web, social, presentation, field-marketing, and other channels, and mediums.

Work closely with Growth team leaders to infuse creative strategy into overall Growth planning and go-to-market positioning to meet and exceed growth goals by creating world-class creative that elicits desired business outcomes across acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives.

Be the internal Subject Matter Expert on Health Payor creative best practices, with keen insights and strong consumer behavior points-of-view on direct response best practices.

Collaborate closely with external agency partners and creatives to deliver concepts, creative platforms, and tactical executions to support all GEHA product lines ensuring the work produced connects to go-to-market imperatives and/or brand objectives.

Expertise in segment-specific, micro-targeting creative development.

Lead creative team with strong business acumen and creative discipline, including managing team priorities, resourcing, and ability to motivate / lead team through planning cycles.

Assess new and emerging creative mediums, approaches, tools, and best practices, including AI and others, to drive process improvement and optimize response rates attract, retain, and engage members.

Develop talent - strengthen internal processes, capabilities, and team members by championing training and development of foundational consumer insights and creative best practices, direct response methodologies, and growth performance optimization strategies.

Evolve process of creative team with a focus on increasing quality and accuracy of work, while diving efficiency by standardizing SLAs/turn times and SOPs of department.
