Crate Builder

Duties/Responsibilities: + Verify they are using the correct lumber for the crate being built. + Inspect lumber. + Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely. + Assemble panels and crates. + Cut lumber to the desired dimension. + Be willing to become forklift certified. + Prepares lumber for assembly. + Cut foam to desired dimensions. + Willingness to adhere to proper safety protocols. + Some warehouse functions are required like offloading a semi and use of a pallet jack. + Ability to understand and execute written build instructions/blueprints for crates. Required Skills/Abilities: + Knowledge and experience with nail guns, screw guns, miter saws, measuring tape, panel saw, table saw, angle grinder etc. + Basic organization skills would be preferred but not required. Basic computer skills may be needed. Education and Experience: + Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 1-2 years of carpentry, maintenance, or construction experience Physical Requirements: + Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
