Crane Operator

The crane Operator's primary function is to operate the crane safely and effectively. The operator must perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor. In addition, the Crane Operator may be required to perform minor repairs to the equipment and is to assist in the general operation of each job site. The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties: Operate a Link Belt 218 crawler crane (118 and 80 ton) Driving pylons & setting beams Directing and assisting in rigging. Loading and unloading of materials. Operating all equipment, the employee is able to operate; NCCCO Certification required. As well as periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds. In addition, duties may require working from heights such as bridge beams or bridge caps.
