Summary All Native Group is seeking an Counterintelligence Analyst II to support Air Force Office of Special Investigations and to be an integral part of a Government and Contractor Team responsible for counterintelligence support to technology protection focus areas, while collaborating with counterparts throughout the DoD and other government agencies. This posting is in support of a proposal and this position will be filled upon award. Essential Functions Perform analysis of OSI's counterintelligence investigations to identify patterns aiding in efforts to identify foreign intelligence entities and other adversarial threats to DAF and DOD programs. Present those findings to OSI Center leadership, 1 FIR leadership, and other OSI customers as appropriate, both orally and in writing. When appropriate and/or necessary, author analysis in adherence to Director of National Intelligence established analytic tradecraft standards. Conduct long-term studies using a variety of statistical analysis to draw conclusions and estimate probabilities based upon knowledge of economic, geographic, and social information from current and past situations associated with foreign intelligence threats to DAF and DOD technologies and associated supply chains. Present findings and recommendations to appropriate government officials as identified by OSI Center leadership, both orally and in writing. Support counterintelligence investigations and operations with focused analysis to evaluate the significance of the information collected, extract and further disseminate relevant threat information, identify investigative leads, provide assistance to the case agent, and coordinate actions within the law enforcement, counterintelligence communities. Identify trends and actions of intellectual property theft and technology transfer investigated by OSI. Provide informational briefings outlining findings to facilitate the DAF's efforts to prevent such theft/loss. Produce and publish analytical products via portal, SharePoint and other electronic methods for OSI Center leadership, OSI field units and DAF senior leadership. Summarize work efforts, meetings, project statuses, and accomplishment in the form of Weekly activity reports (WAR). Support collection efforts by authoring intelligence report evaluations, source directed requirements, and/or assisting with the development or update of strategic and ad hoc collection requirements in support of DAF technology protection efforts. Supervisory Responsibility None required for this position. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Expresses or exchanges ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly. Frequently moves standard office equipment up to 25 pounds. Must be able to work indoor conditions 90% of the time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a part time position. Hours will vary. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected. Experience Must have at least three (3) years of experience with collecting, evaluating and analyzing raw and processed intelligence reporting concerning threats to DoD technologies. Must have at least three years of experience working in the principles, concepts, and methodologies of intelligence analysis and research to include statistical methods; link, pattern, and timeline analysis; and database manipulation. Must have at least one year of demonstrated knowledge in the authorship of finished intelligence which adheres to Director of National Intelligence (DNI) analytic tradecraft standards. Must have at least three years of experience using analytical software and presentation tools, such as Analyst Notebook, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe suite products. The contractor must be able to use these tools without extensive training. Must have at least three years of experience with the link analysis process, including the ability to make connections between foreign intelligence entities and operations Two or more years of experience and judgment in planning and accomplishing work independently and/or part of a working group or team to provide time sensitive and quick responses to Requests for Information.
