Job title: Cost Technician Duration: 12+ Months Location: Merrillville, IN 46410 Comments/Special Instructions: The position is a hybrid role and must report to the office three days a week in Merrillville, Indiana, Tuesday through Thursday.
Responsibilities: - The analyst will be responsible for the initiation of work orders for our tracker filings.
- The Budget Analyst will produce accurate, timely, and quality work product to ensure successful recovery of capital.
- The analyst will work closely with many stakeholders including asset management, scope design and estimating, project controls, engineering, accounting, finance, legal, regulatory policy, regulatory, and project execution to manage aspects of work order initiation.
- Execute the work order process, including TDSIC verification, initiation, set-up, and close out to ensure timely and accurate accounting.
- Effectively work to resolve issues related to requests for TDSIC work orders.
- Produce meaningful reports to NIPSCO leadership to aide in decision making.
- Participates in special projects and ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed, for success of the team or company needs.
Qualifications: Post-secondary education.
