AGCO is seeking a Cost Accountant to join an exciting new Joint Venture between AGCO and Trimble ("JV" herein). The position will be in Westminster, CO; reporting to the Joint Venture Controller.

The Cost Accountant primary responsibility is to account for all cost and inventory transactions of the JV. This includes maintaining the general ledger for cost of goods sold (including accurate recording of standards and variances), inventory (proper segregation of raw material, WIP and finished goods), and overseeing cycle counts of inventory.

The Cost Accountant will also perform other general ledger activities where needed, and include tasks such as: making journal entries, performing reconciliations, compiling workpapers for analysis or documentation support.

The Cost Accountant will be a key member of the JV Finance team by ensuring the general ledger is accurate for their areas of responsibility.

Your Impact

Responsible for cost and inventory accounting of the JV, as well as any other transactions assigned
Responsible for establishing efficient and effective accounting processes for areas of responsibility
Perform monthly reconciliations
Make necessary journal entries
Provide regularly monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis as needed

Your Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
2+ years of work experience in Accounting or Finance
Proven ability to identify/implement process improvements
Cost Accounting experience highly preferred
Working knowledge of SAP and OneStream are preferred
