A rapidly growing manufacturer is seeking to add a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to their team in Griffin, GA.
Job duties
- Setup jobs in systems to track cost in manufacturing process.
- Track cost accurately and timely using job cost and work order systems, including tracking of labor and manufacturing overhead.
- Timely invoice units, including estimated cost, as completed.
- Assist in tracking raw materials for jobs.
- Prepare manual journal entries as needed
- Assist in month-end closing and inventory reporting in accordance with GAAP
- Other duties as assigned.
Characteristics:
- Able to handle large volumes of data.
- Attention to detail.
- Intermediate Excel experience.
Experience:
- Accounting Degree
- Minimum 3 years in accounting
- Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
