Are you passionate about Corporate Law and Governance? Do you have a knack for understanding complex contracts and securities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our fast-paced Finance team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a significant role in our corporate legal department. You will be responsible for providing paralegal support to the team, particularly in the areas of corporate governance, contract administration, securities, and board minutes.

Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that will keep your career stimulating and rewarding. Your duties will include:

1. Assisting with corporate governance matters, including the preparation of board minutes, resolutions, and other corporate documents.
2. Reviewing, drafting, and managing a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements.
3. Assisting with securities filings and documentation, including SEC filings, insider reports, and other securities-related documents.
4. Conducting legal research and analysis on various corporate and securities law matters.
5. Maintaining corporate records and managing our corporate database.
6. Collaborating with various departments within the company to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
7. Assisting with other corporate projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The following qualifications are required for this role:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably in the finance industry.
2. Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
3. In-depth knowledge of corporate law, securities, and corporate governance practices.
4. Experience in drafting and reviewing corporate and commercial contracts.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
6. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to understand and interpret complex legal documents.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
