Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on commercial and corporate litigation, with a particular emphasis on practicing in the Court of Chancery or Superior Court Complex Commercial Litigation Division. Additionally, the candidate will handle litigation related to insurance coverage issues on behalf of corporate policyholders.

Responsibilities:

Handle a diverse caseload of commercial and corporate litigation matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and analysis.
Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and management.
Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management.

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active Delaware Bar license in good standing.
3-6 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably with a focus on commercial and corporate litigation.
Proven experience practicing in the Court of Chancery or Superior Court Complex Commercial Litigation Division.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Experience litigating insurance coverage issues is preferred but not required.
