Our dynamic and fast-paced corporate law firm is seeking a Permanent Corporate Legal Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to further their career in legal support. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and legal support to our corporate lawyers, ensuring the smooth running of our office and effective case management. You will utilize your exceptional organizational skills to manage our lawyers' calendars, prepare annual reports, handle billing matters, and prepare an array of legal documents.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Manage attorney calendars, including the scheduling and coordination of meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
  • Prepare and file UCC financing statements and other ancillary documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, ensuring all data is accurate and submitted within the required time frame.
  • Handle billing matters, including the preparation of invoices and tracking payments.
  • Prepare binders for client meetings, trials, and depositions.
  • E-file court documents and manage the electronic filing system.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable legal formats and styles.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all case files and legal documents.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; a degree in law or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a law firm or legal environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with e-filing systems and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of corporate law and legal terminology.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
