Our client, a leading financial service firm with two separate entities (alternative investment manager focused on quant investing + multi asset execution/prime brokerage/risk consultancy services) is seeking a strong Corporate Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their team fully onsite in Boca Raton, FL.
The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of experience in a Windows-based role and demonstrate a natural inclination towards using PowerShell for automation instead of relying on GUI interfaces. They must be a proactive self-starter, capable of taking initiative, displaying natural curiosity, and possessing the skills to continuously identify areas for improvement. By implementing scalable solutions through automation, they will contribute to enhancing our efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of our global Windows Server and Client infrastructure, including Office applications
• Serve as a key resource for designing and architecting the Windows environment, ensuring high levels of availability and performance
• Showcase your expertise in managing essential Azure technologies, crucially AVD
• Take charge of managing M365/Exchange Online services
• Drive Autopilot deployments and effectively manage profiles
• Utilize MECM for endpoint OS patching, ensuring a secure and up-to-date environment
• Embrace ownership, continuous improvement, and personal growth, as well as elevating our platform to new heights
Ideal Qualifications:
• Experience in the Windows stack, encompassing AD design, GPOs, DFS, DNS, DHCP, and other related components
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is crucial for effectively automating tasks and processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Understanding of networking technologies, enabling seamless integration and troubleshooting within complex environments
