We are hiring a Corporate Healthcare Scheduler to join our growing team. The Corporate Healthcare Scheduler performs various functions, including helping to foster smooth operations within the medical department at various locations. They achieve this by coordinating appointments and rescheduling them as needed. They provide support to the nursing staff, medical staff, and other staff, as well as completing other duties as assigned. Additionally, in this role, you will be responsible for managing the front office at the ARC Corporate office. This includes, but is not limited to, greeting and assisting visitors, handling incoming phone calls, sorting incoming mail/packages and answering general questions regarding the corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages the front office at the ARC Corporate office, including greeting and assisting visitors, handling incoming phone calls, sorting incoming mail/packages, answering general questions regarding the corporate offices, etc.
  • Working knowledge of the regular policies and practices utilized in both residential and outpatient facilities as well as other functions and programs operated by ARC.
  • Working knowledge of common computer programs such as email, online calendars, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Must be a self-starter that is task-orientated, organized, and punctual.
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette
  • Responsible for entering instructions needed for scheduling within the electronic medical records database
  • Take or respond to telephone calls promptly to establish or confirm appointments
  • Responsible for the scheduling of patient appointments for consultations, evaluations, and treatments; follow-up or re-evaluation
  • Maintain precise records of Medical Services provided via Telehealth.
  • Organize the day-to-day schedules
  • Utilize the Electronic Medical Records to generate reports related to the Productivity of providers
  • Organize productivity to maximize medical services
  • Provide support in maintaining and updating client medical records
  • Responsible for entering data into various electronic systems, as well as maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

Key Experience and Education Needed:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with EHR, Microsoft Office, and speech recognition software
  • Previous experience in a hospital or other healthcare setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
