Based in the Texas area, we are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Contract Corporate Governance- Legal Admin to join our team in the Energy industry. This position will offer the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of tasks, including assisting with corporate governance matters, utilizing diligent software, Boardocs, and Quip, and providing administrative support to our legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and contribute to the success of our company.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative and paralegal support to the legal department.
2. Assist in the preparation and filing of corporate governance documents, including board resolutions, meeting minutes, and other related materials.
3. Utilize diligent software, Boardocs, and Quip for document management, collaboration, and efficient workflow.
4. Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
5. Coordinate with various departments to gather and analyze information pertinent to legal matters.
6. Maintain a system for tracking and filing legal documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
7. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for board meetings and other corporate events.
8. Perform other duties as assigned, including general administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or similar role, preferably within the Energy industry.
2. Proficiency in using diligent software, Boardocs, and Quip, or equivalent software.
3. Strong knowledge of corporate governance procedures and regulations.
4. Excellent research skills and the ability to analyze complex legal documents.
5. Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, law, or a related field is preferred.
