WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are seeking a strong candidate to join BCG's Transactions & Integrations practice team in Chicago. You will have the chance to work closely with our analysts and experts on a day-to-day basis and you will get the chance to take responsibility for driving your own ideas.
Specific areas that this position will work in will include:

• Supporting our business development efforts and internal projects

• Monitoring NAMR-wide deal activity to keep us in the know on deal opportunities

• Performing research tasks - from financial and deal databases to company research

• Supporting our analyst team with various tasks across M&A / PMI and Carve-out focus

• Organizational tasks: Supporting the team in organizing events and meetings, etc.
YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Data analysis and financial modelling using MS Excel as well as data visualization in MS PowerPoint

• Working independently and thought partnering with senior members of the team - getting time with key stakeholders and proactively driving initiatives

• Working collaboratively and flexibly with senior global colleagues

• Professional communication and interpersonal skills, including strong, clear verbal communication, crisp writing skills for large audiences and familiarity with structured PowerPoint presentations for senior leaders

• Organized and detail-oriented - able to manage your own agenda and deliverables with discipline - strong sense of ownership and very outcome oriented

• Confident and able to engage with very senior Leaders, often directly without oversight
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited University

• Must meet the internship program eligibility requirements of the current college/university's academic department and student must be approved by the college/university to participate in the internship program

• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the internship cycle (June-September) and be flexible to accommodate meetings in different time zones

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Preference for someone working on a BS/BA in Business or with strong interest

• Previous commercial internship experience in Consulting or related fields is considered an asset, but not a requirement

• Desire to learn quickly and high level of resourcefulness and initiative

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, for example Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and perform moderately complex functions

• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
