ISSA is the worldwide trade association for the cleaning industry. We are looking to actively expand our membership base and the services we offer. To support our growth, we will more aggressively focus on global M&A activity and accessing new Grant underwriting opportunities. This new role will report to the General Counsel and work closely with the CFO and executive leadership in building a more robust pipeline of potential acquisition targets and new grant opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Researching within the global cleaning industry and adjacent complimentary business industries for suitable acquisition targets
- Evaluating underlying business strategies, financial analysis and legal implications of potential partnerships/acquisitions
- Making initial contact and establishing business case for consideration by Senior Management
- Research Federal, State, Local Governments, as well as Corporate and Private sources of Grant funding that would broadly benefit global cleaning. The goal of these efforts would be to build a more robust pipeline of possible grants that could be applied for by ISSA and bring incremental benefits to our members.
Key Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in business and 3 years of relevant M&A experience with roles of increasing responsibility
- Team player with a proven record of success in previous roles
- Strong Excel Spreadsheets skills and familiarity with investment analysis
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong work ethic with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a timely manner

Salary range is $75,000-$85,000 but may vary based on experience.
