The Job

We're looking for a Head of Strategy who will partner with senior leadership on the development and implementation of Ambercycle's strategy, annual operating plans, and guide department heads toward making decisions that maximize achievement of operational goals. In this role, you will utilize your expertise and knowledge to develop, implement, and communicate strategy, create execution plans, gather data on the effectiveness of these strategies, and continually iterate and refine. You will help improve daily functions, build processes based on business goals, and measure the efficiency of these processes.

What You'll Do
  • Lead corporate structuring and finance efforts to support strategic objectives.
  • Manage equity and debt financing transactions to secure favorable terms and compliance.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize sales, procurement, and construction agreements, supporting our operational and supply chain needs.
  • Oversee global human resources and labor agreements, ensuring compliance with local and international labor laws.
  • Provide legal guidance on corporate finance and governance, contributing to risk management and strategic decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • 15+ years of legal experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference for candidates who have worked in manufacturing or similar sectors.
  • Strong background in handling equity and debt financings, sales, procurement, and construction agreements.
  • Significant experience in managing human resources and labor agreements globally.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in growth stage startup environments is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
