Corporate Controller Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Controller will:
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial results.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, promoting continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 for revenue recognition and ASC 842 for lease accounting.
- Supervise project accounting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting on project-related financials.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP, providing strategic insights.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting processes aligned with the unique aspects of the fiber overbuilding business.
- Support the finance team with regular variance analysis of results to budget and forecast.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls for asset safeguarding and accurate financial data.
- Oversee all treasury functions, including tax preparation either prepared internally or by a third party.
