About the Role
As a Corporate Bond Analyst, you will join a team focused on investment grade bond analyst at buyside or sellside firms. You will actively monitor portfolio risk metrics by producing reports and analyzing model scenarios, generate orders to express investment conviction, perform pre-trade portfolio analysis, and make relative value investment recommendations.
The ability to work and think independently is key. You should also have an M.B.A. and C.F.A. with excellent academic credentials. We'd like you to be a great analyst and a good writer. You should also be comfortable responding to questions from clients and the press.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of corporate bonds, utilizing a combination of financial models and market research.
- Write concise and compelling one-page analytical reports on companies, highlighting key factors influencing investment decisions.
- Provide well-reasoned buy or sell recommendations based on your analysis and market trends.
- Collaborate with investment professionals at various financial institutions, responding to inquiries and ensuring the delivery of high-quality research.
- Perform market and portfolio analysis to support fixed income strategies.
- Perform monitoring of fixed income performances
- Assist in the development and improvement of portfolio management tools, processes and reporting.
Requirements
Master's degree in, business, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of related experience in financial services and CFA certification.
