Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable, budgeting, and complex accounting projects. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the corporate accounting department, including accounts payable, general ledger etc.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Supervise the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyze budget variances, and report significant issues to management.
  • Lead complex accounting projects, such as system implementations or process improvements, and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to accounting staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial statement preparation.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid experience in managing budgets and complex accounting projects.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to developing staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-judged decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
