CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT - Hybrid San Antonio, TX
PreIPO client that has sustained enormous growth and is seeking build out the US Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. This team will have direct access to the CFO and Executive Leadership, as the corporate office will oversee all international accounting and finance operations. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to add to this team. Exciting opportunity to add preIPO and postIPO experience to your skillset.
What we really need in the Corporate Accountant:
The ideal candidate will have a natural passion for details and an intricate knowledge of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, taxes, and other financial transactions within an organization. Skilled to execute mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data verification, enabling senior staff to analyze options and make financial decisions aligned with company objectives. In addition, an understanding of US GAAP as it relates to conversion of IFRS, as well as, understanding how inter-company transactions work with recording the necessary entries.
Corporate Accountant Responsibilities:
Conduct mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and identify and correct errors made by others.
Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals.
Fixed Assets depreciation and reporting.
Assist in inter-company transactions as well as journal entries.
Assist in Audit and Tax issues.
Corporate Staff Accountant preferred skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, CPA Candidate, CPA Eligible
Public company experience a plus, but not required
Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, Consolidations
Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
NetSuite ERP System strongly preferred
