Product Copywriter The position pays- $22-24/HR DOE
The Position We are seeking a copywriter who will produce informative, engaging, keyword-rich product titles and bullet point copy. The ideal candidate will use their writing skills along with manufacturers' information, specifications, and data points to create copy which is web savvy and SEO aware. The candidate must be able to manage deadlines and competing demands, while maintaining creative quality in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our copywriter will possess strong conceptual thinking and maintain high standards for writing and proofreading.
Job Responsibilities
- Write and edit titles, bullet points, copy and specification for website.
- Write detailed and engaging product descriptions that improve SEO rankings and promote the sale of products.
- Integrate SEO best practices within every digital writing assignment.
- Consistently proofread writing to ensure it is free of typos and grammatical errors.
- Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery.
Skills Required
- Ability to write in various styles for diverse audiences.
- A basic understanding of digital content strategy and its application to website pages.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & Office.
- Superior editing, writing, proofreading, grammar, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects from initiation through completion.
- Candidates located in Bergen County NJ preferred.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 1 year website product copywriting experience.
- Experience working on websites and online advertising.
- Strong writing portfolio.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
