Job Summary

The Coordinator, Corporate Health Services organizes the delivery of occupational health and wellness services to businesses & industries in the surrounding area. Acts as a liaison to represent UNC Health Wayne to the corporate sector in its various forums. Oversee the occupational health and wellness teammates to ensure the delivery of clinic activities at client sites, including screenings, referrals, vaccine administration and related documentation. Also develops, implements, and presents corporate health promotion programs with a goal of improving workplace safety and wellness at client sites. In addition, the Coordinator, Corporate Health Services provides direct occupational health nursing care as needed in order to meet the requirements and needs of the program.


Minimum Qualifications

Education

Associate Degree Nursing required; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.

Licensure/

Certification

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina required. Certificate in Occupational Health Nursing required.

Experience

A minimum of three to five years occupational health nursing experience.

Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Keen interest and considerable knowledge of wellness and occupational health nursing.

Considerable knowledge of occupational health procedures and ability to demonstrate skills with screening equipment (i.e., Cardiochek, Accu Chek Performa, Tanita etc.).

Knowledge of Worker's Compensation policy and laws.

Leadership qualities, e.g., maturity, job knowledge, professionalism, communication skills, etc. to lead, guide and motivate others.

Ability to work independently and to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent decision-making skills.

Ability to effectively speak in public to small and large audiences.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Ability to travel to work or attend meetings in various work locations.

Proficient with MS Office and able to learn new software rapidly.
