Immanuel Campus of Care is seeking to hire a dynamic Cook to join our Culinary Services Team for our Assisted Living Facility. The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience as a Cook in a healthcare facility.

Job Duties
Prepare meals in accordance with the menu and recipes.
Provide proper food transportation, plate-up and portion control.
Ensure that residents and employees receive high quality food in a timely manner.
Perform tasks as assigned on cleaning schedule.
Maintain and record proper temperature controls, food storage and food rotation.
Update documentation of temperature and equipment logs
Adhere to safety and sanitary practices.
Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
Stock supplies, as needed.
Adhere to residents' special diet restrictions.
Meet regularly with the Culinary Services Director regarding menus, service, procedures, etc.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Strong communication with Teamwork abilities.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work on your feet and lift routine kitchen/food boxes, tools, and equipment.
Knowledge of service standards and system.
Proper knife safety skills.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Job Requirements:
Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (we will help you apply)
Food Handlers Card.
Current 2-step TB test (available on-site)
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Shift Available

This is a Full-Time Non-Exempt FLSA status position.

Shift preference will be discussed during interview.

$17.50-$19.50 per hour, depending on experience
