Salary: $18.00-$20.31+/hour BOE

Croixdale is seeking a Full-Time Cook (no late nights.) to join the team. The hours are 6:00AM-2:00PM.

As a Cook, you would be making breakfast and lunch. You would make made-to-order eggs for 8-12 residents in our dining room and make a breakfast meal for our memory care household. Cooks also dish the plates for lunch and will have to prepare some everyday items per resident requests such as BLTs, grilled cheese sandwiches, and burgers.

Cooks prepare the lunch as well: two menu options with a starch, fruit or vegetable to go along with the meal. You will prepare roughly 4 meals for special diets and all the training for that will be provided.

For decades, Croixdale has been a vital part of the warm and inviting Bayport community. Employees and residents enjoy the nearby views of the St. Croix River and the convenience of local restaurants.

Responsibilities:

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.
Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations strongly desired.
Demonstrated compatibility PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
