Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and maintain automation systems to support our manufacturing processes.
2. Develop and implement PLC and HMI software for new and existing equipment.
3. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automation systems.
4. Work closely with the production and maintenance teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
5. Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
6. Ensure all automation systems comply with safety and quality standards.
7. Provide training and support to other team members on automation systems.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends and implement these into our processes where appropriate.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with PLC and HMI, with Siemens preferred.
4. SCADA experience is preferred.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A strong understanding of safety and quality standards in the manufacturing industry.
9. The ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently.
10. A commitment to continuous learning and development.
