Our organization is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Controls Engineer to join our expanding team. This role is vital to our manufacturing operations and is an amazing opportunity for someone who is passionate about contributing to the development and implementation of innovative control systems. You will be part of a team that designs, develops, and implements complex automation systems to enhance our manufacturing processes. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of control systems for new and existing manufacturing processes.
  • Use PLC programming to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain SCADA systems for real-time process monitoring and control.
  • Implement industrial automation solutions to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Utilize electrical engineering knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems.
  • Use AutoCAD to design and modify electrical schematics and control panels.
  • Develop and maintain PLC, HMI, VFD, and Servo systems.
  • Work with Allen Bradley products and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure control systems align with overall production goals.
  • Provide technical support and training to production staff on control systems.
  • Ensure all control systems comply with relevant safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with Control Systems Design, PLC Programming, SCADA, and Industrial Automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with PLC, HMI, VFD, and Servo systems.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley products and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards in the manufacturing industry.
