A LEVEL 3 Actuator Technician would perform the essential duties of actuator repair of various types of industrial actuators, both in shop and onsite at customers' facilities.
MUST HAVE 2 YEARS DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH LINE/CONTROL/SAFETY VALVES.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate equipment overhead hoists, sand blaster, parts washer, propylene torch, etc.
- Disassemble equipment without damaging parts per the manufacturer's manuals
- Document and enter job data into ValvKeep database with photos
- Coordinate with office personnel on repair requirements
- Cleaning, blasting, and painting components
- Return Parts to Proper Bins, Boxes, etc.
- Assemble, test, tag and certify equipment per manufacturer's repair manuals
- May be required to help in field assignments
- May be required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Maintain equipment in area, as required
- Operate motor vehicle, as required
- Attend job and safety training, as necessary or required
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED. Desire a technical or trade school degree.
- Electrical background is desired
