Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing all financial operations of the manufacturing unit including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control systems.

2. Utilizing your cost accounting skills to analyze production costs, recommend strategies to reduce costs, and enhance profitability.

3. Leading strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth and profitability. This includes assessing financial performance, exploring investment opportunities, and developing long-term business plans.

4. Conducting regular financial audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to identify areas of improvement.

5. Developing and implementing effective business strategies to achieve the company's financial goals.

6. Managing financial risks by implementing effective risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.

7. Collaborating with other departments to integrate financial data and optimize overall business performance.

8. Preparing and presenting financial reports to the management team, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification would be a plus.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role within the manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in cost accounting, strategic planning, financial auditing, business strategy, and risk management.

4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

5. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive financial performance and lead a team.

6. Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to various stakeholders.

7. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

8. Knowledge of manufacturing industry regulations and financial standards.

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions.
