Responsibilities of the Controller:
- The Controller will manage the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Oversee the close process for six branches and the corporate office
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders
- The Controller will coordinate the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
- The Controller will assist with systems implementations (as needed), and will assist with the integration of future acquisitions
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
What the company needs in a Controller:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar
- 5+ years accounting experience
- CPA (+)
- Intercompany transaction experience
- M&A experience (+)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
